Job Description Summary

As a Construction Operations Administrator working for Taylor Morrison you will coordinate construction operations in the office for the field. Will primarily be working in systems that help support the business. Work directly with VP of Construction and ACMs to keep production pace by working with purchasing and starts.

Job Details

We trust that as a Construction Systems Speciali you will: (responsibilities)

  • Check all start packages for matching house type, elevation, options and handing
  • Complete Start package assembly and ensure 100% ready to hand out to field
  • Attach all documents and upload to Build Pro
  • Pull all Build Pro reports and review with VP of Construction
  • Manage Build Pro error report
  • Manage assignments in Build Pro
  • Work with ACMs and their teams to support needs in the field
  • Plan and organize Production meetings with VP of Construction
  • Work directly with Starts team to manage Production Report updates
  • Work with purchasing in getting EPOs to field
  • Work with purchasing to get any issues that arise from the field resolved
  • Work with ACMs coordinating and organizing Builder meetings
  • Pull all construction reports needed for VP of construction weekly ( includes variance report/ build pro cycle time analyzer/ Build pro usage report)
  • Manage Construction trailer usage and removal
  • Manage and organize Sales Center builds and the plans
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years minimum experience with a large production homebuilder or equivalent experience
  • Must have ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Must have excellent overall computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

    *Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
