Job Description Summary

As an Equity Plan Administrator working for Taylor Morrison you will administer the Companys equity based rewards programs. Ensures operations support company policy as well as applicable legal and tax regulations.

What Youll Do

  • Administer Companys equity grant program including processing exercises, grants, terminations, and assists with employee questions.
  • Update and balance Roll-Forward and Share Balance quarterly reports, and maintain an accurate, detailed accounting of all stock plan activities; Update equity related tables and narrative in annual proxy report.
  • Assists with the design of the annual stock grant; Assist with development and delivery of training and education materials to improve awareness of stock value; Assists with executive compensation research and creation of exhibits for presentation to members of the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain third party relations with external plan administrators. Maintain plan documents and develop and maintain administrative procedures. Research and resolve any issues affecting accurate recordkeeping and consistently maintain internal controls; Generate reports for Finance as needed; Ensure outstanding or unvested stock is treated per the terms of the grant or Employment Agreement at termination; Clear approved Insiders to trade during open trading windows, including 10b5-1 transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with equity plans and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assists in compensation related matters by evaluating jobs for external competitiveness, internal equity and alignment with organizational objectives, participating in compensation surveys and writing job descriptions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 3+ years progressive stock administration experience
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related major or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of equity plan principles, laws, and regulations
  • Project management, problem solving, and decision making skills with attention to detail
  • Research and data management skills; demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and summarize data and make recommendations
  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Office products, strong in Excel)
  • Communication Skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-motivator who maintains confidentiality and professionalism

FLSA Status: Exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations
  • Act as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to oversee direct reports daily and provide guidance as needed
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
