Job Description Summary

Join the growing Taylor Morrison (Americas 5th largest and most trusted home builder) team, as the IT Director of CRM. In this role you will report to the VP IT Applications and partner with the sales and marketing teams to identify business outcomes that will move the business forward. Additionally, this role will be critical in aligning and optimizing the technology stack to identified business outcomes and drive digital innovation across the organization.

We are seeking an experienced IT Director of CRM that is passionate about sales operations and providing technology solutions that will drive business outcomes and optimize the CRM. End-to-End ownership of the sales value stream is also critical to this role, as this candidate will need to optimize velocity and flow through the value stream and at the same time optimize the health of the entire sales technology stack. Leading, mentoring, and influencing team members and stakeholders is also a critical aspect of this role.

Job Details

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the chief sales office to define, develop, and deploy a sales technology strategies that are continuously refreshed to align with agreed upon OKRs.
  • Drive strategy and innovation (CRM application and market expertise and business case and roadmap development).
  • Ability to develop the logical technical architecture and understand the physical, and virtual layers of the technical architecture for continuous optimization.
  • Salesforce implementation experience must include technical/business architecture design and involvement in the overall SDLC (Code, design, integration, data modeling, migration, deployment and post-implementation support)
  • Manage the end-to-end telephony application including (Maintenance, support, integration, and strategy)
  • Continuous identification of automation opportunities (Bots | Ai/ML).
  • Effective communications (Succinctly present ideas, business cases, and manage stakeholders from C-suite on down).
  • Professional level understanding of the core Salesforce products with functional knowledge of the entire product suite; must have one or more cloud certifications (Sales, Service, Marketing or Community) as well as be a certified Application or Technical Architect.
  • Tight collaboration with the sales product owners regarding product backlog.
  • Proactive ticket backlog administration to keep at healthy levels.
  • Supplier and vendor management (Contract management, SLA adherence, optimization).
  • Leading agile product teams to deliver on all sprint delivery metrics.
  • Must develop annual budget plan and maintain budget fidelity to that plan.
  • Measure team value stream capacity and properly allocate to various types of work.
  • Continuous buildout and development of a diverse high performing team.
  • Tight collaboration with other IT and functional leaders across marketing and customer care.
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet business goals successfully.
  • Interact directly with managers and end customers as necessary to analyze objectives and capability requirements so you can produce innovative solutions that move the needle for Taylor Morrison.
  • Accountable for adherence of all related application security, data privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development, delivery and continuous improvement of the TM digital strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience managing technical teams.
  • 8 years of experience as IT CRM application owner directly supporting a business function.
  • 5 years of experience with SalesForce or other CRM (Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel, etc) application.
  • 3 years of experience with telephony applications (In-Contact, Avaya, Vonage, etc)
  • Certified Application Architect.
  • 3 years of experience building business cases with strong ROI.
  • 3 years of experience managing cost center budgets.
  • 2 years of experience with Agile software development principles & practices.
  • 2 years of experience building SalesForce custom objects, APEX Code, and workflows.
  • 2 year of experience with Configure Price Quote Solutions.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Cost estimating for budget planning and forecasting.
  • Review and approval of technical documents.
  • Experience with supplier contract negotiations.
  • Code reviews with the development team.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

Nice to Have

  • CPQ specialist certification SFDC certification.
  • Certified platform developer 1certification.
  • SAFe Certification.
  • Experience with Microservices and APIs.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
