Job Description Summary

As a Senior CMS & Web Development Lead working for Taylor Morrison you will design and build cutting edge functionality that meets evolving requirements and improves our Sitecore ecosystem. We are looking for a Senior Sitecore Developer that requires minimal guidance; to design, develop, and deliver software solutions on the .NET platform, utilizing Sitecore technology.? You will have an active hands-on role working closely with our internal clients & internal teams to deliver solutions that best leverage the capabilities of Sitecore while pairing them with the needs of Taylor Morrison to catapult us to the next level. This position requires a focus on writing great code and a strong understanding of the sprint cycle, project lifecycle and software development lifecycle. You must be a self-motivated individual and take pride in delivering high quality work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.? As a Sitecore Developer, youll be expected to grow and develop not only our Taylor Morrisons capabilities on Sitecore, but also internally mentor any other developers brought on-board to ensure that our standards for technology delivery on Sitecore are repeatable, consistent, effective, and current.

What Youll Do

  • Lead end-to-end (conception, development, maintenance, and evolution) implementation of digital solutions using Sitecore CMS.??Partner closely with our project managers, QA teams and external vendors to deliver high quality, high performing solutions on time and on budget
  • Work closely with our business partners (UX designers, content team, analytics team, product managers, etc.) to propose design and implement system solution
  • Hands-on development to high-quality standards using Microsoft technologies and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Aid support teams during troubleshooting and issue triage, helping to resolve issues and identify gaps that would need remediation
  • Draft technical specifications, system architectures, development approaches, and testing solutions
  • Work and collaborate with the external vendor team, including offshore resources
  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging developments and trends in technology that could impact current projects and influence new projects
  • Establishment and enforcement of coding standards and practices
  • Work closely with Marketing team and your fellow agile software development team members to build and enhance Sitecore-based solutions
  • Act as the development lead on Sitecore implementations and website enhancement projects
  • Meet with customers/internal IT teams to plan and estimate solutions that will drive business outcomes
  • Stay current with Sitecore technology and share your knowledge with others to build a stronger team
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet delivery expectations
  • Effectively communicate design rationale and build consensus
  • Ability to develop new and innovative approaches to complex design problems?
  • Regularly mentors and reviews work of other team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You might be just who were looking for if you have

  • 5 years of software development experience in developing,?implementing,?and supporting?enterprise level solutions (object-oriented?design, distributed systems, web services,?etc)?
  • 5 years of proven experience in developing solutions using Sitecore CMS (9.x+) utilizing ASP.NET MVC 4/5+, C#, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Visual Studio 2015, LINQ, jQuery,?Javascript, CSS?
  • Familiar with Sitecore application setup, front end,?back-end?development, package deployment and admin activities
  • Working knowledge of Design Patterns, XML/JSON and using and consuming 3rd party web services/APIs (SOAP, REST,?etc)?
  • 2 years of experience with Agile software development principles & practices (scrum, backlog,?etc.)
  • 2 years of experience with source control systems like TFS(Azure DevOps) , GIT
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2017
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Services (VSTS) and?Powershell?scripts
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Review and Approval of technical documents
  • Code reviews with the development team
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Contribute to the development of our eCommerce strategy to achieve the delivery of that strategy
  • Able to estimate tasks effectively
  • Sitecore Certification, preferably in ver. 9.x preferred
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js) preferred
  • Experience with accelerator frameworks such as Sitecore SXA, Brainjocks SCORE, or similar preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
